Qualifications
- Minimum of one month of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Previous customer service experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Strong ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with constant guest interaction.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to develop alternative solutions and maintain composure in emotional situations.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain professionalism and treat others with respect and consideration.
- Knowledge of and adherence to policies, procedures, safety, and security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, tailored to the audience.
- Punctuality and reliability to meet work schedule demands, including occasional outside hours based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out, verifying registration details, balancing the bank, posting charges, and providing additional assistance such as luggage handling, directions, wake-up calls, and reservations.
- Respond to guest and visitor inquiries, coordinate special service arrangements, and inform guests about hotel amenities and services.
- Answer hotel telephones courteously following brand standards.
- Prepare, stock, serve, and clean food and beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards; operate POS systems confidently.
- Assist with food orders, serve food and beverages professionally and promptly, and maintain a clean environment during service.
- Follow operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security procedures, to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
