The Bennett College Gallery & Cultural Heritage Assistant position in Greensboro, NC, supports care of art, historic objects, and Bennett College’s cultural heritage. Qualifications

• Must be eligible for federal work study and in good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Gallery visitors and help create a friendly, engaging environment.
• Staff selected Gallery hours as part of a student team.
• Help photograph, research, organize, and document Bennett’s art and historic materials.
• Assist with Gallery files, labels, signs, displays, and other projects.
• Observe and report concerns involving artwork or the Gallery space.
• Assist with exhibition setup, deinstallation, programs, and special events.
• Help keep Gallery and project areas organized and ready for visitors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
