Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Eastern Territory is seeking a Custodian to maintain center premises and equipment in a clean, safe, healthy, and comfortable condition both inside and outside.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, you will perform general custodial tasks, follow schedules, and coordinate with vendors for repairs, ensuring classrooms, restrooms, offices, and outdoor spaces stay orderly and well-maintained for children and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience in general custodial tasks including cleaning, repairing, and painting.
• Ability to read and follow written work schedules and instructions.
• Ability to maintain a simple inventory of supplies.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff, children, parents, and visitors.
• Ensure the facility is consistently clean and safe.
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency diploma required.

• Support the general operation of the center by performing additional duties as assigned.
