Job summary

Levy at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis seeks a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver guest-pleasing cuisine while achieving cost goals.

You will guide a team, ensure standards, manage supplies, and contribute to menu development in a dynamic sports-and-entertainment setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a culinary management position.
• Sports and Entertainment or high volume experience is preferred.
• A culinary degree is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Understanding of financial concepts.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

• Ensures company guidelines and standards are communicated to team members.
• Ensures the kitchen team has the necessary equipment and supplies.
• Contributes to sales growth through product selection, execution, pricing and creative development.
• Achieves purchasing, scheduling and culinary standards.
• Achieves all assigned cost goals.
• Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule - including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Job Summary
