Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to support gage care and production equipment at the Stellantis Trenton Engine Plant. You will read schematics, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and work with SPW teams on problem solving to ensure uptime.

Requirements include a journeyman toolmaker or 5+ years in gage manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, and familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman toolmaker or 5+ years in gage manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics.
• Ability to follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Experience supporting Lean/quality initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production measurement equipment.
• Work from mechanical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written/oral instructions.
• Support SPW cross-functional teams in maintenance-related problem solving.
• Maintain and improve gage uptime; support gage modifications and drawings control.
• Create, update, and approve standard work instruction sheets for maintenance activities.
• Contribute to safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives in a lean environment.
