Job summary

NSK Americas, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician to monitor and manage the calibration status of all plant measurement, gaging, and inspection equipment.

You will maintain safety stock, coordinate 3rd party validations, and keep certificates and tracking software up to date. The role involves supporting Engineering with master parts, logging calibration events for traceability, and auditing gauge usage to ensure compliance with gauge control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor calibration status of all plant measurement, gaging, and inspection equipment.
• Maintain safety stock of hand gauges and replace gauges due for calibration as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors to calibrate gauges requiring 3rd party validation.
• Maintain calibration certificates, risk assessments, and gauge tracking software.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with OK/NG master parts and logs of devices.
• Record calibration activities to establish a traceable history of events.
• Audit the shop floor and related areas for gauge control compliance.
• Coordinate calibration schedules with maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Organize measurement systems analysis for gauge families as needed.
