The role partners with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Treasury, Tax and business leaders to evaluate implications, prepare memoranda, and drive consistent policy application across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting processes.
• Experience researching and documenting complex accounting issues and preparing technical accounting memoranda.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, maintenance, and reviews of accounting policies for compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Coordinate policy changes with policy owners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Research and analyze complex accounting transactions and contractual agreements.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda and policy interpretations for significant transactions.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and SEC regulations and coordinate implementation.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across units and functions.
• Partner with internal and external auditors on policy and reporting matters.
• Identify opportunities to enhance governance, documentation, controls, and reporting efficiency.
