Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• GAAP knowledge and ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Experience with budgeting across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor accounting staff; manage workload to ensure deadlines are met.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Oversee disbursement, payroll analytics, and vendor project invoices.
• Direct month-end close, audit deliverables, and board liaison activities.
• Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and working capital requirements.
