Job summary

Arrowhead Winch, Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a General Accounting Manager to oversee all close processes, reporting, and controls. The role partners with operations and finance leadership to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The candidate will manage budgeting and forecasting, coordinate with auditors, and lead a team to ensure timely, accurate financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and audit schedules.
• Monitor compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Partner with operations and finance to improve processes and controls.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with department leaders.
• Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable processes.
• Develop staff through training and promotions.
