Job description

GA Pre-K Lead Teacher

Requirements:

  1. BS/BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or higher required
  2. Minimum of 2 or more years experience in a classroom environment working in a GA Pre-K Program as a Lead
  3. Must attend Georgia Bright From the Start training
  4. Meet with parents, staff, and administration
  5. Flexible and energetic on the job
  6. Experience with planning lessons and activities
  7. Ability to resolve conflicts between children
  8. Excellent communication and people skills
  9. Must be an active, enthusiastic team player
  10. Ability to work a schedule that follows the school system calendar
  11. Must pass a criminal background check
  12. Please have a GAPDS account started

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Planning, teaching, and implementing the curriculum and providing quality care for our children 4 and 5-year-olds
  2. Planning and executing indoor and outdoor experiences appropriate to the developmental levels of the children
  3. Interacting with children both physically and verbally throughout the day
  4. Serve meals to the children
  5. Attend staff development training programs
  6. Familiarity with state licensing requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
