Job summary

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Kennesaw, GA is hiring dedicated preschool teachers to deliver Georgia Pre-K curriculum and nurture young learners. You will support lead teachers, engage families, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

We offer competitive pay starting at $41,717 for Bachelors in ECE and $65,000+ with a Teaching Certificate and Bachelor's, plus a robust benefits package and growth opportunities within a national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
• Georgia Certified Teacher credentials preferred.
• Experience as a teacher at a licensed childcare center is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten.
• Foster relationships with children in a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum.
• Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
• Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

Compensation & Pay Range:

Starting base salary: $41,717+ for Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Starting base salary: $65,000+ for Teaching Certificate AND Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Compensation listed above is based on the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning Salary Schedule. Candidates will be offered a salary using the education, credential and teaching certificate information provided on the schedule.
