The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is hiring an Assistant Teacher. This position offers a base pay range of $16.00/yr - $17.00/yr. Compensation & Pay Range: $16.94 per hour. The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

- Help implement the Georgia Pre-K curriculum to prepare our children for success in kindergarten
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson plans and instructing children in age-appropriate activities, according to the Georgia Pre-K curriculum
- Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
- Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
- Minimum of a CDA/TCC required.
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 6 months of experience as a teacher in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
- Successfully pass state background check and health assessments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies
