Job summary

The Sunshine House is hiring a Childcare Teacher in an on-site role, offering meaningful work shaping young children’s futures. You’ll contribute to safety, education, and care while supporting families and communities. A supportive team and development opportunities are central to our culture.

Starting pay is $17 per hour with opportunities for higher pay with advanced education and experience. Part-time benefits and education supports are included to help you grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• At least 30 days paid teaching experience in DSS licensed daycare setting.

Compensation & Pay Range: Starting at $17 per hour

Candidates with advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases are considered with additional education, stellar performance, and years of service.

• Passion for working with young children.
