Job summary

Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Captain to join our safety-first flight operation based at KBED in Bedford, MA. You will lead the Gulfstream G650ER, ensuring safe, compliant, and exceptional experiences for passengers while upholding our standards and FARs.

Responsibilities include planning flights, reviewing maintenance, conducting preflight inspections, and managing weight, balance, and fuel for each leg.

Qualifications

• 3,000 hours total time.
• 1,500 hours PIC.
• 1,500 hours multi-engine land time.
• 500 hours multi-engine PIC.
• 500 hours turbojet time.
• 250 hours instrument time.
• Type rating: Gulfstream G650ER (or comparable).
• Current first-class medical.
• Annual ICAO procedures training.
• On-call availability for operations.
• Residence within two hours of KBED or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G650ER safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus policies, applicable FARs, and approved aircraft procedures.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each flight.
• Conduct required preflight inspections per the approved AFM.
• Plan and brief flights, including weather, NOTAMs, route, facilities, destinations, alternates, and international procedures as required.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations; protect the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Manage performance, weight and balance, and fuel planning for each leg.
• Complete all trip documentation accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
