Job summary

Solairus Aviation in the Eastern U.S. seeks a Gulfstream G650ER captain to manage safe operations on long-range flights. You will review maintenance, perform preflight checks, and coordinate with dispatch for efficient mission execution.

Responsibilities include weather/NOTAM analysis, route planning, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding crew and passengers. Must be prepared for international travel and potential relocation to support global missions.

Qualifications

• Gulfstream G650ER type rating is required.
• Current FAA First Class Medical is required.
• Able to work on an on-call schedule and travel internationally.
• Commitment to annual ICAO International Procedures training.
• Residence in the Eastern Region USA or willingness to relocate.
• Minimum flight experience as listed: total 3,000 hours, PIC 1,500 hours, MEL 1,500 hours, MEL PIC 500 hours, turbojet 500 hours, instrument 250 hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the Gulfstream G650ER on all assigned flights.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to each departure.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Analyze weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates for all routes and destinations.
• Adhere to Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and all applicable FARs.
• Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft during operations.
• Complete trip, regulatory, and operational documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain readiness to support missions on an on-call basis, including international operations.
