Job summary

Pentastar Aviation is seeking a Pilot-in-Command for our Gulfstream fleet in Waterford, MI. The successful candidate will ensure safety, operate efficiently, and supervise a flight crew in a demanding schedule.

Strong preference for G500/G600 experience, 4000+ total flight hours, and international business aviation background. FAA First Class medical and a Bachelor’s degree are desirable assets, with residency within two hours of Waterford, MI.

Qualifications

• ATP Certificate
• Minimum of 4,000 hours of Total Flight Time
• G500/G600 prior experience highly desirable
• Prior business aviation experience required
• Large cabin Gulfstream experience required
• International experience required
• Ability to manage a changing work schedule
• Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA First Class medical certification

Responsibilities

• Pilot-in-Command responsible for safety of passengers and crew
• Supervise flight crew and ensure compliance with FAA regulations
• Determine flight routes, speed, and takeoff/landing times to meet schedule
• Make decisions on delays, rerouting, or cancellations
• Perform other general department duties when not flying
