Job summary

Priester Aviation is seeking a G280 Captain (PIC) to lead flights from PWK in the Chicagoland area. The role requires commanding a G280, comprehensive flight planning, and a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The position is based in PWK with a 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule, and the team operates in a dynamic Part 135/91 environment across the U.S. and internationally. Candidates should have extensive turbine PIC experience and ATP with multi-engine rating.

Qualifications

• G280 time in type required.
• Minimum 5000 total flight hours.
• 2500 hours as PIC; 2500 hours multi-engine with 1500 hours multi-engine PIC.
• 2000 hours turbine time and 500 hours instrument time.
• ATP certificate with multi-engine land rating; First-Class Medical Certificate; FCC restricted radiotelephone operator’s permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Pilot in Command for safe operation of assigned flights in accordance with FARs and company procedures.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight planning including weather analysis, routing, fuel planning and airworthiness checks.
• Maintain high level CRM and crew coordination throughout all phases of flight.
• Contribute to Safety Management System and participate in safety audits and corrective actions.
• Complete post-flight documentation and report any safety concerns or equipment issues.
