Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a G1 Strategic Planner V to develop strategies for executing process improvements within the AMC G1. The role involves drafting Army orders, supporting policy analyses, and coordinating with HQDA initiatives to advance people strategy programs.

Responsibilities include leading strategic communications, producing briefings and reports, and ensuring alignment with the AMC People Strategy and related implementation plans.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in strategic studies, Business Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of senior-level experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Any related professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Write Army orders by distilling information from HQDA Execution Orders pertinent for command orders IAW Army doctrine and assist division chiefs with internal strategic planning and policy and program revisions.
• Assist with compiling, publishing, and overseeing a comprehensive analysis for G1 policies.
• Synchronize updates to the AMC People Strategy, AMC Civilian Implementation Plan, and Organic Industrial Base Modernization Implementation Plan.
• Evaluate effectiveness of management policies, programs and procedures related to subordinate organizations, functions, staffing and workload.
• Lead strategic messaging by drafting templates for Senior G1 leadership.
• Initiate IPRs with AMC subordinate commands to integrate policies across AMC G1.
• Participate as an AMC representative to solicit information for people programs and priorities.
• Provide slides to discern complex programs with concise information.
• Provide analytical results and recommendations from HQDA engagements and future people strategy concepts.
• Prepare briefings, develop reports, and identify best practices for AMC G1 strategic planning.
• Develop and propose people topics for AMC Senior Leaders meetings with Army Senior Leaders regarding Army people strategy.
• Craft responses to FAQs as part of G1 Strategic Messaging.
• Provide basic staff products, including Excel worksheets, information papers, and briefing presentations (PPT).
• Write Operations, Fragmentary and Execution Orders for AMC G1 People Strategy and HQDA initiatives.
• Calendar synchronization and integration of staff products; organize strategic messaging and operational integration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• The contractor is responsible for synchronizing updates to the AMC People Strategy, AMC Civilian Implementation Plan, and Organic Industrial Base Modernization Implementation Plan.
• Responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of management policies, programs and procedures related to subordinate organizations, functions, staffing and workload.
• Will lead strategic messaging efforts by drafting templates for Senior G1 leadership.
• Initiate In-Progress Reviews (IPR) with AMC subordinate commands to integrate formulated policies, procedures and best practices pertaining to people strategy actions across AMC G1.
• Participate as an AMC representative to solicit and provide information for all relevant people's programs and priorities.
• Provide slides as needed to discern complex programs with concise information.
• Provide analytical results and/or recommendations from HQDA engagements, initiatives and future people strategy concepts.
• Prepare briefings, develop reports, and identify best practices for AMC G1 strategic planning including preparation for meetings or other events.
• Develop and propose people topics for AMC Senior Leaders meeting with Army Senior Leaders IRT Army people strategy to include all programs under this umbrella.
• Will craft responses to frequently asked questions as a part of the G1 Strategic Messaging effort.
• Provide basic staff products, including Excel worksheets, information papers, and briefing presentations (PPT).
• Write Operations, Fragmentary and Execution Orders pertaining to AMC G1 People Strategy and additional HQDA initiatives as implemented.
• Responsible for calendar synchronization, integration of staff products, organization of strategic messaging, and operational integration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge

• Shall have strong analytical and business acumen skills to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement within the AMC workforce for leadership decision-making.
• Shall have knowledge of AMC mission responsibilities and organizational awareness coupled with the subordinate command critical capabilities for researching, providing analytical impacts and efforts, upon which command-wide programs, policies, and procedures involving the Army People Strategy will be predicated.
• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $135,000 to $170,000.
