Position Summary
The Team Marketing and Business Operations (TMBO) group is a unique in-house consulting arm within the league office that works collaboratively with NBA and G League leadership to grow team & league business performance by promoting best practices and innovation across all teams. This fast-paced and collaborative department is focused on all aspects of team business operations, including ticket sales and service, partnership marketing, fan engagement & development, content creation, digital products, business analytics, and data strategy. The Account Manager - NBA G League role, reporting directly to the SVP, TMBO, will collaborate closely with G League leadership to maximize the business efforts of NBA G League teams, with a specific emphasis on ticket sales, partnerships, marketing, and community engagement functions. In so doing, this individual will consult, train, and teach best practices to the G League teams' Chief Operating Officers / Chief Revenue Officers, and their entire business staff. In addition, this person will also be responsible for developing and leading projects that advance the team business in an innovative way, often drawing on best practices and learnings from beyond sports.
