Job summary

Profound is the fastest-growing AI marketing platform, based in NYC or SF, seeking a senior recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across Finance, HR, Legal, and Recruiting. You will build scalable sourcing engines, partner with hiring managers, define interview loops, and craft a high-touch candidate experience, leveraging AI-enabled tools to move quickly while maintaining quality.

The role is on-site in NYC or SF, with base salary range $160,000–$215,000 and a competitive total compensation

Qualifications

• Experience hiring Finance, HR, Legal, and Recruiting talent at fast-growing startups.
• Full-cycle closer, from writing the job description to negotiating and signing the offer.
• Creative sourcer with a real network and persistence to build one where it does not exist.
• Data- and process-minded, tracking time to fill and source yield, and unblocking bottlenecks.
• High-agency and persuasive, able to setup processes, standards, and relationships from scratch while moving fast.
• Experienced with AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflows, and knows how to apply them to sourcing, outreach, and candidate evaluation.

• Build scalable sourcing engines across outbound, referrals, and talent communities to keep the top of funnel humming.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategy for each function, including role scoping, leveling, sequencing of hires, and where to find the right talent.
• Define scorecards, interview loops, and tight SLAs for every search, and build them from scratch where nothing exists yet.
• Craft crisp outreach and a high-touch candidate experience that reflects our mission and pace.
• Instrument the funnel through ATS hygiene, conversion dashboards, and channel ROI, and iterate quickly on what works.

• Creative sourcer with a real network and the persistence to build one where it does not exist
• Data and process minded, tracking time to fill and source yield, and knowing how to unblock bottlenecks
• High-agency and persuasive, comfortable being the first in the seat and setting up process, standards, and relationships from scratch while pushing for speed without sacrificing quality
• Experienced with AI-enabled recruiting tools and workflows, and knows how to apply them to sourcing, outreach, and candidate evaluation

LOCATION

This is an on-site role based in our NYC or SF office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $160,000 to $215,000 (NYC and SF). Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
