Job summary

College of Southern Nevada seeks a part-time FYE Peer Leader in North Las Vegas to support first-year students. You will welcome new students, navigate CSN resources, and assist with orientation events, registration, and campus programs under supervision by the First Year Experience team.

You must be a CSN student for Fall 2026, eligible for Federal Work Study, with at least one completed CSN semester and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Eligible for CSN Federal Work Study for Fall 2026.
• Currently enrolled in a CSN degree or certificate program.
• Minimum one CSN semester completed; must be in good academic standing.
• Strong communication and public presentation skills.
• Able to engage with incoming students and CSN staff respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new CSN students and help them navigate CSN resources.
• Assist with First Year Experience events and orientation.
• Conduct outreach calls to new CSN students for support and referrals.
• Support social media content creation for FYE programs.
• Attend FYE trainings and assist with materials.
