Summary Description

• Under the direction of the middle school principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for adolescent students.
• Working with interdisciplinary teams, provides a school culture conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of adolescents to ensure success for every student.
• Supervises middle school students in a variety of school-related settings.
• Communicates and collaborates with middle school students, staff, parents, and community.
• Develops, selects, and differentiates instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all middle school students.
• Maintains appropriate records, follows required procedures and practices, and uses data analysis to monitor student achievement.
• Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Physical Demands:As required by the duties and responsibilities of the job.
• Special Requirements:Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.

Education Training Experience
