Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Treasury Manager, Foreign Currency in Seattle to manage FX risk and evolve global hedging programs. You will lead hedging discussions, optimize strategies, and drive automation with cross-functional teams across Tax, Accounting, and Planning.

You will oversee a multi-program hedge portfolio, mentor team members, and influence decisions with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Treasury, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
• Strong understanding of foreign currency risk management, hedging strategies, treasury operations, and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and treasury management software.
• Strong focus on process automation, continuous improvement, and driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute weekly hedging for proposals for balance sheet, revenue, loyalty and net investment programs.
• Engage in discussions to recommend optimal hedging strategies and execution.
• Manage foreign currency risk across a multi-program FX hedge portfolio.
• Lead automation initiatives to identify currency exposures and hedge strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify AI use cases in FX and hedging processes.
• Serve as SME for Foreign Currency and Hedging for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze hedging performance and investigate gaps and anomalies.
• Identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Partner with Cash Management to support global liquidity needs.
• Lead ad hoc treasury projects including capital markets support.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
