Pacific University’s Berglund Center Boxer Makerspace at Tran Library 208 is looking for a part-time FWS student technician. The role supports a collaborative space with access to 3D printers, scanners, laser cutters, and other equipment, and is open to current Pacific University students eligible for Federal Work Study.

The wage rate is $16.80/hour for the 2026-2027 academic year, with supervision by Shereen Khoja, Makerspace Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Pacific University Undergraduate student.
• Qualifies for federal work study funding for the 2026-27 academic year (preferred, but not required).

Purpose: The Berglund Center's Boxer Makerspace is a collaborative space where students, faculty and staff can design and build prototypes using tools such as 3D printers, 3D scanners, a vacuum former, an electronics workstation, laser engravers/cutters and other specialized equipment.
