Responsibilities

• Perform all Café restaurant functions (deli, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge) as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods.
• Follow food safety guidelines per Scheels, state, and local ordinances.
• Receive and store products per SOPs.
• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients.
• Follow Scheels Cashier Guidelines for Café registers.
• Manage side work, stocking, cleaning schedules, opening/closing procedures.
• Assist in inventory purchasing, merchandise arrangement, and sales trend analysis.
• Train new associates using kitchen tools and SOPs.
• Maintain a clean personal workspace and surrounding areas.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating procedures.
• Work varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain working knowledge of Café recipes and prepared foods
• Follow all food safety guidelines by Scheels, State, and Local Ordinances
• Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
• Prepare different types of food, drinks, and ingredients
• Ensure Scheels Cashier Guidelines are followed as it pertains to Café registers
• Manage and support side work, stocking, daily and detailed cleaning schedules, and opening and closing procedures
• Make decisions about the purchasing of inventory, the arrangement of merchandise, and sales trends to meet or exceed Scheels' standards
• Assist in training all new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and Standard Operating Guidelines
• Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience:

Schedule and Compensation:

• Hours: Average of 40 hours per week.
• The Shift: Includes a mix of opening shifts (Between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) up to 2 closing shifts (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM), and a set day off each week.
• Weekends: Minimum of every other weekend (Saturdays between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Sundays 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
• Pay: The posted compensation is a base hourly rate of $20.00/HR.
