Job summary

C4 Planning Solutions, LLC seeks a Futures Team Network and C2 Systems Engineer at Camp Pendleton, CA. This full-time role supports Marine Corps mission networks, providing configuration, integration, sustainment, and optimization of mission-enabling systems in complex environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of military or defense IT experience, active security clearance, and hands-on expertise with RHEL, TMN architectures, TCP/IP, and DoW C2 systems such as TAK/ATAK/Maven.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in military training or direct military support.
• Experience with TMN architecture spanning multiple tenants and EUDs.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting RHEL environments and scripting basics.
• Awareness of Tactical Data Links (TDL's) and MIL-STDs.
• Ability to work signal flow from sensors to networks.
• Desire for real-world operations involvement.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with core network hardware: routers, switches, firewalls.
• Familiarity with DoW C2 Systems (TAK, ATAK, MCH, Maven) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical expertise configuring, integrating, sustaining, and optimizing mission systems.
• Support interoperability across Marine Corps and joint environments.
• Develop documentation, guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Design, implement, and sustain secure network architectures for tactical environments.
• Engineer transport, compute, virtualization, and core network services.
• Participate in architecture planning, reviews, and interoperability assessments.
• Support training events, exercises, and mission rehearsals with government personnel.
