Job summary

The Atlantic Council of the United States seeks an Associate Director for the Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center (AALAC) in Washington, DC. You will advance foresight work, scenarios, and decision-focused outputs in Latin America and the Caribbean, including US-LAC strategy and power dynamics.

We prize entrepreneurial leadership, strong policy writing, and a proven fundraising track record. Four days in-office per week are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international relations or public policy.
• Experience in policy strategy, international affairs, or political economy.
• Strong written and oral communication for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strategy implementation and foresight for LAC, including global competition.
• Lead high‑impact publications and policy memos for diverse audiences.
• Design FutureLAC approaches, scenarios, and stress tests for decision-makers.
• Coordinate fundraising and partnerships to support initiatives.

Education

Master’s degree in a relevant field (international relations/public policy)
