For this role, we look for individuals to be responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a geographical territory, executing the full sales strategy from market analysis and sales forecasting to pipeline management, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and customer retention.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and requests, utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems effectively.
- Develop new business and expand existing accounts by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. Educate clients on how EquipmentShare can help save money, increase revenue, and operate more efficiently.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels and keep clients informed about new solutions that can benefit their business.
- Respond to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly. Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Innovate and develop new sales strategies to increase market share and enhance customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Tenacity, innovation, and a proven track record in outside sales are essential.
- Experience or knowledge in Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry, with B2B sales preferred but not required (training provided for the right candidate).
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt quickly and stay updated on EquipmentShare products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
