For this role, we seek individuals responsible for expanding our existing customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a geographical territory, executing the full sales strategy from market analysis, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth to contract negotiation and customer retention.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and requests. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is preferred.
- Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals, demonstrating how EquipmentShare can help save money, increase earnings, and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels and inform them about new solutions to enhance their business.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, requests, or complaints. Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Innovate sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and enhance customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Tenacious, innovative, with proven outside sales experience and a strong sales track record.
- Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or the industry (rental or construction) is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced, growing company and stay updated on EquipmentShare products and services.
- Competitive, self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
