Future Technician (Mechanic) Opportunity with EquipmentShare!

For this role, we seek individuals responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
  • Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various rental and customer equipment, exercising a high degree of independent judgment
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly daily
  • Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Field Mechanics: travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required; keep service vehicle clean and professional
  • Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • Own tools applicable to the position
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
  • High School diploma; trade school certification preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Field mechanics: valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicles
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Field Technicians: may be required to be clean-shaven to access worksites with such requirements
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
