Qualifications

Future Technician (Mechanic) Opportunity with EquipmentShare!
EquipmentShare is accepting applications for future Technician (Mechanic) openings in the Camp Hill, PA area.

For this role, individuals will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair for various customer and company-owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment
  • Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
  • Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, exercising a high degree of independent judgment
  • Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) daily
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Field Mechanics: Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance when required; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
  • Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
  • Own tools applicable to the position
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
  • Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred
  • Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
  • Field mechanics: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Field technicians: May be required to be clean-shaven to access certain worksites
  • This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
