Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) invites motivated undergraduates to join our Product Development engineering intern/co-op program in Austin, TX and other locations. You will work full-time (40 hours/week) in a hybrid or onsite setting during the term, contributing to characterization, test-program development, and data-driven analyses that influence production ramp.

You will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams, learning and applying C++, Linux, scripting, and debugging skills

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a US-based university in an undergraduate program in a CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Strong interest in product development, data analysis, and test program development.
• Familiarity with hardware-software interaction and basic electronics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Development Engineers in characterization and building production test programs.
• Perform engineering and correlation studies to support yield, coverage, and ramp to production.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; debug manufacturing and characterization test programs.
• Support product debug and characterization to identify performance sensitivities.
