Job summary

Jimmy John's is looking for an Assistant Manager to help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. The role emphasizes leading by example, maintaining store standards, and ensuring all team members perform duties with integrity and efficiency.

You will supervise labor and food cost, prepare schedules, train and motivate crew, and ensure product quality meets Jimmy John's brand standards. The position offers strong training, opportunities for promotion, and monthly bonus

Qualifications

• Able to work up to 40-hour week (or more as needed).
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 6 months of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) experience - managerial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations in the store.
• Excellent communication, management/leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Exceeding customer expectations in regards to service and store cleanliness
• Supervising all financial aspects of food cost and labor goals for the shift and measured periods
• Preparing and following labor schedules and product projections
• Training, supervising, and motivating crew members
• Preparations of products and maintaining quality to meet Jimmy John's brand standards
• Monitoring and use of all store service equipment
