Job summary

Lynd Management Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and financial performance of a multifamily property in San Antonio, TX. You will lead a on-site team, manage leasing, budgeting, and resident relations while ensuring compliance and high owner satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will develop employees, drive occupancy, monitor financials, and collaborate with maintenance and corporate teams to deliver excellent resident service and property performance.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of property management or related operational experience.
  • Experience supervising and developing employees.
  • Knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, collections, budgeting, and resident relations.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements and applicable housing laws.
  • Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Apartment Manager credential preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, motivate, and develop the on-site team.
  • Oversee leasing, renewals, occupancy, collections, and resident retention.
  • Monitor the property's budget, revenue, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Prepare accurate and timely operational, financial, and owner reports.
  • Partner with maintenance to complete service requests and prepare apartments for leasing.
  • Inspect apartments, amenities, common areas, and grounds regularly.
  • Resolve resident questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase property traffic and occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, invoices, purchasing, and property improvement projects.
  • Use company technology and property management systems to monitor performance.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, clients, residents, and corporate departments.

What We're Looking For
  • Two to three years of property management or related operational experience.
  • Previous experience supervising and developing employees.
  • Knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, collections, budgeting, and resident relations.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements and applicable housing laws.
  • Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Apartment Manager credential preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally for deposits, meetings, errands, or other business needs.
