Stocks General Contractors LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support underground utility and civil construction projects in the DC/MD/VA area. The role emphasizes organization, proactive planning, and clear communication to drive project success across field and office teams.

You will manage documentation, track schedules, assist with cost tracking and procurement, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.

About the Role

Stocks General Contractors is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer to support our underground utility and civil construction projects.

This role is essential to maintaining organization, communication, and accountability across active projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate communication between project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Track project schedules, progress, and key milestones
• Support cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized project records

What We’re Looking For

Preferred

Education

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• OR Equivalent construction experience
