Job summary

At Your Side Walker County is hiring Home Care Attendants to help clients stay independent and receive care in their own homes.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, help with personal care, mobility, meal planning, and provide respite to families, with ongoing training and support.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage, flexible scheduling, and a strong commitment to respect and dignity for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a national background check and drug screening.
• A good match for the client based on personality and availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Monitoring health progression and notifying relevant parties of any changes.
• Providing assistance with personal care such as bathing and grooming.
• Engaging in meaningful activities with clients.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Helping with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment for clients.
• Providing respite services for the family.
• Allowing people to live with respect and dignity, in their own home.

Compensation: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
