Job summary

Cork Wine and Tapas is seeking a friendly Barista to prepare coffee drinks and food while delivering warm hospitality in a fast-paced setting.

You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu items, operate the POS, keep work areas clean, and uphold brand standards. Prior food service knowledge and ServeSafe certification are preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of food service regulations preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to resolve guest issues quickly per brand standards.

• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks
• Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system
• Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
