MEOW BARK VETERINARY SERVICES PLLC in Austin, Texas, is seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join our brand-new, locally-owned clinic. You will engage with pet parents, obtain histories, assist with exams, radiographs, and surgeries, and help deliver compassionate, personalized care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of animal care and handling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment.
• Patience and empathy for pet owners from all walks of life.
• Fear-free certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Speak with pet owners to obtain a thorough patient history.
• Take vital signs and acquire lab samples.
• Perform body and dental radiographs.
• Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery.
• Administer medications and provide discharge instructions for clients.
• Keep accurate patient records.
