Primrose School of Eldersburg is seeking a Food Service Teacher who will prepare delicious, nutritious meals to fuel children as they learn and explore. You’ll follow the Director’s menu, support safe food handling, and contribute to a warm, healthy classroom environment.

You’ll collaborate with staff to promote healthy eating habits, monitor allergies, and ensure a nut-free kitchen while providing friendly, dependable service to families and children daily.

Formación

• Experience in school or childcare food service preferred.
• Knowledge of allergy management and nut-free policies.
• Ability to follow menus and prep meals safely and hygienically.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare nutritious meals following the daily menu.
• Promote healthy eating habits among children.
• Monitor and manage allergies and nut-free policy compliance.
• Assist with ordering food and inventory as needed.

• Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.


• Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.


• Ensure food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.


• Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.


• Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
