Job summary

The Primrose School of Berkeley Heights, located at 246 Springfield Ave Berkeley Heights NJ 07922, is seeking a Food Service Worker for our warming kitchen to help prepare delicious, nutritious meals for our students. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-3:00 pm.

As a private preschool accredited to provide a premier educational childcare experience, we emphasize Balanced Learning and healthy eating.

Responsibilities

• Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
• Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
• Ensure food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.
• Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
• Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
• Support Classrooms
• Assists in other capacities that the Director, or designee, determines are necessary
