Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in industrial design; experience in a consulting or product development firm is a plus.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, KeyShot, and Rhino.
- Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills.
- Exceptional sketching, ideation, and storytelling abilities.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics.
- Highly collaborative with a user-focused approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
Responsibilities
- Concept development: generate creative design solutions through sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling that align with project requirements and user needs.
- Prototyping: create physical and digital prototypes to test ideas and validate concepts.
- Collaboration: work alongside engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet performance specifications.
- Client interaction: present ideas, concepts, and designs to clients, incorporating feedback into iterations.
- Research: conduct market and user research to inform design decisions, keeping up with industry trends and materials.
- Design for manufacturing: develop production-ready CAD models and documentation for handoff to manufacturing partners.
