Job summary

The Sunshine House is seeking a Daycare Director in Training in the Northwest Atlanta Area. This role involves assisting with daily operations under a training director, partnering with families to provide quality early education, and helping implement the curriculum with developmentally appropriate play.

A two-year management background in licensed childcare is required and travel may be necessary. Eligible candidates may have an Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of prior management in licensed childcare required.
• Proficient computer skills in a variety of business-related programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to area locations.

Responsibilities

• Working in conjunction with a training director, help oversee the daily operations of childcare school in accordance with state licensing and company policies, including administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and early education for their children.
• Assist with the implementation of our curriculum, including developmentally-appropriate play and classroom environments.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and others.
