Job Description

Position Title: Special Education Classroom Teacher

Applicants who currently hold or are eligible to hold valid Georgia Teaching Certification in Special Education General Curriculum (P-12) and Special Education Adapted Curriculum (P-12) should apply for this applicant pool job posting.

Reports to: Building Principal/Director

Work Schedule: 190-Day Contract

Hours to Work: 8 hours

Primary Function: Provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and achieve to the maximum of their abilities.

Requirements

• Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certification in Special Education General Curriculum (P-12) and Special Education Adapted Curriculum (P-12).
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
