Description

The Future Assistant Store Manager - Sales must be a goal-driven individual, expected to create and promote an extraordinary experience and a “consumer first” environment in a leading tech brand's newest retail store. The Assistant Manager will have responsibilities in associate management, including hiring, development, coaching, scheduling, and discipline, to ensure an outstanding consumer experience, cost efficiency, and quality operations. They will also maintain inventories, oversee the store appearance, and complete relevant reports, including physical inventories.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions of this Position
  • Be the expert on ‘Radically Helpful’ customer service and brand ecosystems.
  • Drive store sales and meet KPIs.
  • Create an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging environment.
  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations and management.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, inventory, and system reconciliation.
  • Guide employees, set priorities, resolve issues, and handle escalations.
  • Build and coach teams to promote customer solutions, loyalty, and results.
  • Manage inventory and ensure visual brand standards.
Supervise personnel
  • Meet and exceed goals related to customer experience, sales, revenue, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Create a motivating work environment.
  • Oversee floor experience as Floor Leader.
  • Coordinate customer interactions and transactions.
  • Coach staff on sales and service metrics, recognize performance, and address issues.
  • Conduct regular training and resolve service issues.
Management and Development
  • Hire, discipline, and motivate staff.
  • Lead by example and develop team members for growth.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Address fraud issues and educate staff on incentive plans.
Product Launches
  • Partner with management for successful product launches.
  • Inspect post-launch results and ensure staff are trained.
  • Coordinate launch day operations and staffing.
Merchandising
  • Adhere to merchandising standards.
  • Maintain pride in store appearance.
Compliance
  • Ensure operational compliance and manage scheduling, attendance, and payroll.
  • Complete required training and oversee retail programs.
Other
  • Report fraud, be on-call for emergencies, uphold integrity.
  • Lead change, collaborate, analyze issues, and pursue results.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years retail management experience in high-touch environments.
  • Proven leadership in managing large teams and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and sales skills.
  • Experience with consumer electronics and technology products.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, coaching, and performance management.
  • Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
