You will lead development and delivery of welding training, manage qualifications, and support OQ programs to ensure safety and compliance. The role emphasizes LMS administration, curriculum design, and field delivery with travel to training facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; or 5+ years of utility ops or technical training exp.
• 4 years in utility operations, construction, or adult technical instruction.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Advanced communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in business software and training tools.
• Substantial knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design.
• Ability to perform needs analysis and identify performance gaps.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Emerging leadership and change management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of technical training programs.
• Oversee progression testing and qualification activities.
• Partner with Operations to assess training needs and develop curriculums.
• Administer LMS and OQ programs; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide field support and maintain training documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve training materials and delivery.
• Create learning objectives and training materials.
• Gather and organize technical documentation for training use.
• Assist with LMS administration and basic instructional methods.
• May drive to various training facilities and comply with driving standards.
