Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA is offering a 12-week onsite internship in the Fuel Cycle Team. You will work on recycling gas from the vacuum system, learn the separation technology, and gain hands-on experience with vacuum and cryogenics systems.

You will optimize parameters, design and run experiments, collect data, and present findings with recommendations at the end of the internship. Eligibility includes enrollment in a relevant engineering degree and a minimum GPA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or above is required.
• Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluids, and heat transfer are essential.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate the separation system within Helion's fuel cycle.
• Optimize system parameters and design experiments.
• Collect and analyze data; document results and recommendations.
• Present findings at internship end.
