Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Power Business Research and Analytics Manager in Devens, MA. You will apply rigorous analyses to the commercialization of fusion power and support the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Power Business teams.

You’ll develop SME on drivers of the transition to fusion energy, including regulatory economics, deal structuring, and market intelligence, while collaborating across engineering, government affairs, and finance to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5 years of energy markets/financial analysis experience
• Strong project management and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas in English
• Regulatory research, data synthesis, and operational reporting
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (executive presentations)
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead quantitative and qualitative analyses to support Commercial Power Business operations
• Prepare tailored briefing materials and participate in stakeholder meetings
• Monitor regulatory developments, tariffs, interconnection processes, and energy policy
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing/comms, government affairs, and legal teams
• Design scalable business development workflows and implement tech/AI-enabled solutions
• Develop, format, and refine executive-level presentations and proposals
