Fusion Energy Base in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced engineer to own hardware designs for fusion generator prototypes. In this pivotal role, you will enhance analysis workflows, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and build software tools that empower engineers in their analysis.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fields and a strong background in analytical and computational methods, with proficiency in finite-element analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
• Strong background in analytical, computational and numerical simulation methods.
• Experience in analysis problems from formulation through testing.
• Experience with finite-element analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware designs for Helion’s fusion generator prototypes.
• Enhance Helion’s analysis workflow for critical structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Build software tools to automate analysis workflow.
