Hours: Teachers must provide a minimum of 24 hours of availability, primarily on M/W and T/Th, with additional availability on Fridays preferred.

Position Overview

Fusion Global Academy seeks an AP Spanish Language and Culture Teacher starting July 15, 2025. This role involves creating a student-centered, supportive classroom environment that fosters compassion, tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and critical thinking. The teacher will address individual academic and emotional needs, following Fusion’s differentiated approach and College Board guidelines to prepare students for the AP Spanish exam.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one instruction in AP Spanish Language and Culture for students in grades 9-12, with potential to teach non-AP Spanish courses.
  • Implement adapted and differentiated instruction to support holistic growth.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate regularly and positively with parents.
  • Engage with and contribute to the campus community.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and self-reflection.
  • Mentor students beyond subject matter instruction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Residency in specific states (list provided).
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong subject matter expertise.
  • Teaching credentials are advantageous but not required.
  • Experience with students with learning differences and ADHD, plus mentoring experience, is preferred.
  • Outgoing, well-organized, proficient in basic computer skills, eager to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to teach and tutor at high school level immediately.
