Job summary

Rio Tinto Borates, located in Boron, CA, seeks a Fusing Operator D to monitor furnaces, kilns, dryers and related equipment under the direction of a Level B Operator. You will log production data and assist with process monitoring and safety.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and experience with plant equipment. Lifting up to 60 lbs, basic math and teamwork are required components of the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. Basic math, reading and writing ability required.
• Current and valid state driver’s license is required.
• Experience operating furnaces, kilns, dryers or similar plant equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor furnaces, kilns, dryers and related equipment under supervision.
• Log production data and communicate any issues to operators.
• Assist Level C & B Operators in monitoring process conditions and safety.
